My Laundry Man

Lately, Nathan is my little laundry buddy. When I go into the laundry room to load or switch the clothes, he's right in there, reaching in and pulling out. He's usually pulling things out at the wrong time, but I'm feeling confident that very soon, he'll have it down pat. Then my life will be bliss.
He also loves to carry around his blanket. He'll spot it and run over to it and carry it while he walks. Lift, step, lift, step. He learned quickly that if he didn't want to end up face first on the floor, he had to pick up his blankie as he walked.
While I'm getting ready in the morning, he finds a laundry basket with clean, but unfolded clothes and he goes and picks one piece at a time, out of the basket, carries it across the room and drops it near my feet. I'm anticipating that this too will end up being handy. From our many hours watching DVRed Project Runway, he's going to have a good eye for fashion and I'm hoping by 3, he can be my personal shopper. I'll let you know how that works out.
But my favorite of Nathan's clothes tricks is performed in his crib. His clothes hamper is next to his crib. If left in his crib awake for long enough, he will end up with an empty hamper and have a crib full of previously worn/dirty clothes. It just cracks me up when I go and peek in on him and I find some jammies, onesies and socks. I need to be getting a picture of that. He's just the cutest little fella. Aaahhh!

I just love how babies are fascinated with making mountains of laundry piles. Sure am glad he figured out how to pick his blankie up as he walked. That could result in some pretty large bruises on the hard wood floor :)

Once he's trained send him down my way, I could use the help. :)
